What Does this uterine Ultrasound Result Mean?

Hi, My uterus is anteverted, normal in size and echo texture and measures 2.9×3.6×6.2cm. Myometrial and endometrial echoes are normal. Endometrium measures 8mm. Endometrial cavity is empty. Both ovaries are enlarged in size. Multiple follicles are arranged peripherally with central echogenic stroma. Rigth ovary: 3.6×1.6×3.2cm(vol: 10cc) Left ovary. : 3.7×1.9×2.7cm(vol: 10cc) Both adnexa are normal, no mass is seen. There is no free fluid in POD. Doctor said I have PCOD, I am 26, trying to convince. Please tell me , will I have more difficulty to convince.

As per your scan you have multiple follicular cysts but number of follicles are not mentioned, as your doctor said it may be definitely PCOD but it doesn't mean that you will have more difficulty in conceiving. You will have to work on few factors like weight loss, eating habits and lifestyle modifications mainly stress related. These things will help you a lot.
